Los Pinos Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a wildfire on County Road 330, in the Allison area of the district on April 19th, 2005. The area was under a Red Flag Warning due to high winds. The fire was contained to approximately five acres with the assistance of the Bureau of Indian Affairs Southern Ute Fire Crew and the Upper Pine River Fire Protection District.
