Incident Description: Fire Chief Underwood responded to a call of localized flooding that was affecting residential properties in the community. While attempting to clear a blocked culvert with a hose line, Underwood fell ill and collapsed at the scene from an apparent heart attack. Chief Underwood was treated by responders and transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injury.
