Incident Description: Description: While working at the scene of a single vehicle accident on Westbound Interstate 10, District Fire Chief Spencer J. Chauvin was struck and killed by a charter bus that crashed into the accident scene. A passenger in a vehicle at the scene was also killed and many others were injured including two firefighters who received non-life threatening injuries in the incident.
