Incident Description: While en route to a water rescue at Morrow Mountain State Park with confirmed persons in the water, Firefighter Snavely was involved in a motor vehicle crash with a commercial motor vehicle on Hwy 205. Snavely passed away from traumatic injuries sustained during the crash. The incident is under investigation by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
