Incident Description: While preparing to leave home for a response call to assist law enforcement gain access to the roof of a building, Fire Safety Officer Horan tripped and fell, suffering a severe injury. Safety Officer Horan was treated by fellow responders and transported to the hospital where, despite all efforts, he succumbed to his injuries several days later.
