Incident Description: Firefighter Davis responded to a motor vehicle accident and assisted other responders with extrication of one occupant. After completion, Davis experienced chest pains. Johnston County EMS started treatment. While in route to the hospital, Davis went into cardiac arrest. Resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful and Firefighter Davis succumbed to his injury.
