Fire Damages Townhome on Village Dr. in Lower Frederick Twp.

LOWER FREDERICK TWP., PA - At 11:44 P.M. on Monday, February 12th, Perkiomen Township Fire Company volunteers (along with multiple other fire companies), responded to a report of a building fire on Village Drive (near the intersection of Aspen Way) in Lower Frederick Twp. Lower Frederick Fire Company’s Ladder 52 arrived first, followed by Engine 52 shortly after. Multiple hand lines were placed in service for fire in the rear and attic area of the townhome. Crews operated for several hours and held the fire to the initial townhome. The Perkiomen Air 66 crew filled air cylinders for various fire companies while the Engine 66 team initially worked inside the townhome. Perkiomen Township volunteers responded as mutual aid to assist Lower Frederick Fire Company.
