In the afternoon of 2/15/2024, the Manchester Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a building fire on the city's far west side. While companies were being toned, firefighters at Goffstown's Pinardville fire station noticed a large column of smoke on what was believed to be the Goffstown side of the border. They responded to investigate and arrived on scene the same time as Manchester companies to a well-involved home. Crews from both department deployed hoselines and worked on knocking down the flames, the heaviest of which were doused within 15 minutes. While overhauling the scene, Truck 6 firefighters located a cat on the second floor and brought the feline out for medical attention. After some oxygen it was released to its owner.
