Vails Gate FD responded to reported chimney fire at Cheddar Lane on May Fifth. Units arrived and requested resound all available manpower to
scene. Firefighters used ground ladder to get on roof over chimney-firefighters started to send chain with weights to clean area inside chimney that
was blocked. Firefighters removed ash from the chimney. New Windsor Police and EMS was at scene. All units returned to service.
