In January, on duty crews from multiple Pooler Fire Stations conducted extrication training at the LKQ Self Service auto salvage yard on Highway 80. Several vehicles were provided to allow training with both corded and battery powered extrication equipment. For some of Pooler’s newest firefighters, this was the first real opportunity to use some of the newest extrication equipment that was recently purchased and placed into service.
